Soft light, warm greens, and small moments captured on film during a long weekend in Northern Ireland.
In this post I’m sharing a handful of film photos from a recent trip to Armagh in Northern Ireland. I spent the long weekend with my partner’s family with my Samsung point and shoot in my pocket and a roll of Kodak ColourPlus loaded up. I bought this camera for £25 back in a market last year and I’m really impressed with the photos it’s produced so far.
We spent the weekend wandering and exploring the area, taking in the breathtaking views of the Irish countryside.

I really love the tones of green in these images - I find Kodak tends to lean more golden, which I much prefer to cooler-toned film stocks. It really adds a sense of warmth and cosiness to the images.

I think this (below) is my favourite photo from this roll. When I was taking it, I walked past and did a double take - the way the sun framed the branch was too gorgeous not to stop. These are my favourite kind of images on film. Really simple, but it’s the framing and the light that make it feel special.
